Obituary of William E. Urbach

William E. Urbach, 84, of Fulton passed away Sunday, July 21, 2024 at St. Luke Health Services in Oswego. Bill was born June 2, 1940 in Queens, New York to William and Grace Urbach. He was a graduate of Oswego High School and served his country in the U.S. Army. Bill had been employed as a salesman for several years at the Fulton Typewriter Store, a bus driver with the Golden Sun Bus Company and the Oswego City School District. Bill was known for his wanting to help those in need which led him to volunteer as driver with Mental Health and Wellness Services. Bill enjoyed spending his time playing tennis, golfing, bowling and teaching his grandchildren how to fish and they loved their “boy's night” & “girl's night” sleepovers at grandma and grandpa’s. He is survived by his children, Julia (Paul) Yablonski of Scriba, William (Lisa) Urbach of Fulton, Melissa (Adnan) Bdour of Fulton and John (Karina) Urbach of Kissimmee, FL; his sister, Catherine Urbaitis of Texas; 18 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Sharon Urbach; his son, Kenneth Loveall and his brother, Robert Urbach. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, July 25, 2024 at Fairdale Rural Cemetery, County Route 3 in Hannibal. A Celebration of Life will be held from 3 to 5 p.m., Thursday, July 25, 2024 at the Fulton Moose Lodge, 3044 County Route 57, Oswego, NY 13126.
