On August 6, 2015, Michael E. Brown and Ross A. Belfiore purchased Tait Funeral Home in Cazenovia, New York. Our foundation is built on hard work, compassion, honesty, dignity and respect which allowed us to establish a funeral home in Fulton, New York in February of 2018. We saw a need in Fulton in regards to funeral service that we believe we could fulfill. Everything we do is in the best interest of those we serve. The several options we offer to our families are based on a standard and not compromised on price or lack of experience.
Let our approach to funeral service help you to honor the life or your loved one. Unlike most funeral homes, at our funeral arrangement conference, both Mike and Ross will sit down with you to go over the many details in arranging the services. While we may make recommendations, you will never feel pressured or discouraged in the type of service you select. Our funeral home has a resource center that is available to the public with various DVDs and literature that may be of help during this difficult time. We also offer helpful links that will allow you to prearrange a funeral with total transparency and our prices are available to you to view on this website. By all means, we are available in person or by phone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to answer your questions or respond to your needs.

Michael E. Brown
Co-Owner/Professional Licensed Funeral Director
Mike's career in funeral services began upon his graduation from Simmons Institute of Funeral Service in 1998. He performed his residency with Maurer Funeral Home, Inc. which has locations in Baldwinsville and Liverpool. At the end of his residency, the Maurer family hired him as a licensed funeral director. While at Maurer Funeral Home, Michael gained a tremendous amount of invaluable experience in funeral service. He learned that hard work, listening and doing whatever a family request equates with success. In July of 2004, Michael went to work for Foster Funeral Home, Inc., another firm with two locations, one in Fulton and another in Hannibal. While with Foster Funeral Home, Mike gained even more experience in the field of funeral service and his leadership skills blossomed. Michael became the manager of their Hannibal location in 2012. While being employed full-time with these two firms, he also worked part-time for a funeral home in Syracuse and continues to perform consultations and preparations for a select few funeral homes in Central New York. Having a deep passion for funeral service, Michael considers it an honor to own and operate a funeral home and will serve the community with the utmost professionalism in a caring and compassionate manner. His other passion is his family. He has seven children, Elizabeth (21), Julia (18), Mikey (17), Campbell (15), Matthew (14), Catherine (12) and Gabriella (7).
