To All of the Hudson Family,
I'm so sorry to hear about the passing of your Dad / Grandfather / Great Grandfather / Uncle. I'm not sure that I can put into words how much fun and learning experience it was growing up next to "Hudson's Dairy". My fondest memories are of sometimes helping out on the farm, the cows getting out and grazing in our yard (scaring my mother one morning) and hanging out with the Hudson boys! Thank you, Eric for giving me a ride to high school for many years! You all made the winters fun with snow-mobiling, ice skating on the pond and sledding down the hill in your back yard. (Remember when we were ahead of the curve and blew up the tractor tire inner tubes to slide down the hill!) If we needed anything, we could count on Mr. & Mrs. Hudson (Hank & Bev) to help us out.
I always hated being called a "country girl", but now I cherish the memories. Best wishes to you all. I will be praying for all of your families!

To the Hudson family, I am so sorry for your loss. I will never forget Henry's kindness to me. I was about 10 years old when we moved in next door - probably around 1986. My dad (Chet) made me go ask permission to ride my ATV on his land, which I was nervous to do, but Henry was gracious and gentle and treated me like family. I spent the years till I left home making great memories on the farm. One year I found his wallet on the ground out in the middle of the field which I took to the house and gave to Beverly. Needless to say, he made a big deal about that, and he must have mentioned the story every time I visited home for the last 25 years. The last time I saw him this Summer he said with a big smirk, "I haven't lost my wallet recently." May you rest in peace, Henry.

My favorite uncle Henry Story concerns fire. When he was a child, lightening struck the farm house in Grandby. Six kids, two adults inside. My mother, Sally, the oldest child, would not leave the house until she was dressed! Henry always related this with wonder. And, from then on if there was lightening around he’d get fully dressed and sit by the door ready to get his own family out if need be.
The photos are some I just found. Love the cow, Ayrshire, of course.
May he Rest In Peace.
Love from Elaine Swank, one of his many nieces.

Rest in peace, Uncle Hank. A memory I have is going to Uncle Hank’s and Aunt Bev’s home to visit and he would pop popcorn and put it in bowls then add milk to the bowls. It was delicious.

I don't have one specific memory of Mr. Hudson but my parents, Skip and Terry Sheldon, were great friends of theirs. They would go to dinner with two other couples regularly. It was a close knit group in our area, especially all of us that had farms. Prayers and love to all. And may all of those happy memories ease your sadness.

Our deepest sympathy to all of you. Uncle Henry was always special in my life. Have wonderful memories with him and Beverly. Loved his smile and laugh, always called me sweetheart and gave the best hugs ever! In later years when we came to the area, we a.ways met for dinner at Euclid Hotel for dinner. He has left a legacy that will continue with all of you. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and so sorry not to be there. Marilyn, Delores, Joan and our families.
