Obituary of Mark S. Cole

Mark S. Cole, 60, of Fulton, passed away peacefully Thursday, October 20, 2022 with his family by his side. He was born December 8, 1961 in Syracuse to William and Barbara Cole. Mark was employed by the City of Fulton Department of Sanitation as a supervisor for several years until his retirement. Mark had a passion for hunting, trapping, playing softball and frequenting the gym. He was always proud and eager to show his trophy mounts. Mark will be remembered as being a loyal friend and for his unique sense of humor and quick wit. Moreover, he will always live in his children’s memories as being the most loving and caring father and Poppy Mark to his grandchildren. He is survived by his mother and step-father, Barbara and James Shutts of Fulton; his children, Leigha (Jamie) Sardo of Baldwinsville, Ashley Cole of Fulton, Eric (Abby) Cole of Montana, Cameo Cole of California and Christopher Haskins of Fulton; his brother, William (Erin) Cole of Virginia; his sister, Barbara King of Fulton: his brother, Merle Whipple of Fulton; his step-sister, Jennifer (John) LeBlanc of Fulton; his aunts, Margaret Williams and Vivian Dillenbeck; his grandchildren, Grace, Alexis, Hanadi, Sahara, Jordan and Summer as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, William Cole and by his step-brother, James Shutts. Calling hours are 2 to 5 p.m., Saturday, October 29, 2022 at Brown Funeral Home, 21 Flood Drive in Fulton. Memorial services will be held at 4:30 p.m., Sunday, October 30, 2022 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 64 Gillespie Road, Fulton.
