So sorry to hear of Gary’s passing. He was a great guy and a great mechanic. I worked with Gary when he was at Thompson & Johnson along with his brother Willard years ago. Gary always had a smile on his face and was always willing to help. My sincere condolences to Gary’s family.

My deepest condolences to all of you. Gary was a good friend to me, I wish I had spent more time in Fulton hanging out in the garage. I have lots of memories of him, my dad, cousins and brothers in that garage with beers and just gabbing like neighbors used to do before the internet. My ultimate memory was a weekend converting a Ford Mustang II from automatic to standard shift. My cousin Bobby, Gary and I fueled by ginger brandy. When we were done, I drove it to my dads house next door. The next morning, hungover, I see parts in the back seat. I called Gary to tell him about extra parts and we concluded, it drove, must be those parts weren't needed. I think of you often Gary, I wish I had gotten home more. Kenny

I’d like to extend my condolences to all of Gary’s family. My dad worked with Gary for 20 years at Thompson & Johnson. My dad was also good friends with Gary’s brother, Willard. I worked with Paul Becker for about 10 years at Interface Solutions, INC. And then I worked with Gary at Novelis from 2010 until he retired. My family has been surrounded by yours almost my entire life. Gary and my Dad would joke, have drinks and constantly fix things together. Gary was one of the most personable people and like my own dad, could fix anything. He will be missed. Just know he has left impressions on other people’s lives and will always live on in our memories. God bless.

We are saddened to hear of Gary's passing. He was a great neighbor and friend, always willing to lend a hand with a big smile on his face. He could often be found in his garage, fixing anything mechanical and welding were his specialties. He was a mentor to his children, whom could often be found by his side.
