Obituary of Nancy Lee Greenwood

Nancy Lee Greenwood, 67, of Fulton, passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at University Hospital. She was born November 3, 1953 in Oswego to Robert and Elinor Avery and was a graduate of Hannibal High School in 1971. Nancy was employed as a Customer Service Manager at Super Duper, Mirabito’s and 7 eleven. Nancy enjoyed reading, completing puzzles, playing games, baking, camping at Old Forge and was a huge Syracuse University basketball fan but the most important part of her life was spending time with her daughters and grandchildren. Family gatherings and family vacations were times she cherished. Nancy also enjoyed cooking on the grill, camp fires, and was known for making everyone laugh with her sense of humor. Nancy is survived by her daughters, Tracy Greenwood and Carrie Thornber both of Fulton; her grandchildren, Kelsey Pickard, Olivia Forsyth, Addison Pickard, Lauren Thornber and Logan Thornber; her Goddaughter, Shannon Gorman Roth as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Robert Avery and Elinor Avery McCann; her siblings, Kathleen Miller, Richard Avery and Judy Avery. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, January 10, 2021 from 3 to 5 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, 21 Flood Drive in Fulton. Services will be private.
