Obituary of Todd R. Moot
Todd R. Moot, 43, of Mexico, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, April 1, 2017. Born in Oswego, Todd attended Mexico Academy and graduated in 1995 from Bryant & Stratton with an Associate’s degree in Electronics. He had worked in the instrument control rooms at the Fitzpatrick Power Plant during their scheduled power outages. He was the owner of Mooter Towing, working with A.A.A. and was a truck driver with Black Creek, Inc. of Fulton. Todd worked as a car pusher at local race tracks. He was a member of the N.R.A. who enjoyed hunting, trap shooting and target shooting with a pistol.
He was predeceased by his brother, Mark Moot who died November 19, 2016.
Todd is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; their son, Dalton; his parents, Clarence “Bud” and Eunice Moot; a sister-in-law, Terri Moot; two nephews, Jason and Brandon; a niece, Stephanie Yablonski; two great nephews, Logan and Carson Yablonski.
A Celebration of Todd’s Life will be held 4 p.m., Saturday, April 15, 2017 at the Edick-Hamlink V.F.W. Post #369, 5931 Scenic Ave., Mexico, NY.
