Obituary of Michael W. Bucci
Michael W. Bucci, 52, of Oswego, formerly of Fulton, passed away Sunday at Oswego Hospital. Born in Syracuse, a son to William and Sharen Bucci, Michael grew up in Elbridge. He served in the U.S. Army from 1984 until his Honorable Discharge in 1985. Michael was an auto parts manager for Autozone in Oswego. He loved riding his motorcycle, camping, boating, listening to music and spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Mike was predeceased by his grandparents, Katherine and William Bucci; two aunts, Kathy Chawgo and Hilda Sawyer.
Michael is survived by his wife of 22 ½ years, Deborah Ann Bucci; three children, Alicia (Jason) Bucci-Lemley of San Marcos, TX, Jon Bucci of Oswego and Michael Bucci of Camillus; his mother and step-father, Sharen and Bruce Bodley of Chittenango; his father and step-mother, William and Pauline Bucci of Elbridge; three brothers, Sergeant First Class (USA active) James (Dee) Bucci of Volney, Sergeant Major USA Ret. Dominick (Dawn) Bucci, of Parrish and Chief Warrant Officer III (USA active) Billy (KC) Bucci of Clarksville, TN; four grandchildren, Kate Lemley, Antonio Bucci, Sara Lemley, Izach Bucci, a fifth one on the way as well as several nieces and nephews.
The Bucci family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff at Oswego Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit for the love, compassion and support given to them and Michael during his illness.
