Obituary of Christopher M. O'Keefe, Sr.
Christopher M. O’Keefe, Sr., 54, of Weedsport, New York passed away suddenly on Monday, November 11, 2024 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Chris was born December 8, 1969 in Syracuse to Patrick J. and Carol A. (Dailey) O’Keefe and was employed as an expert welder and fabricator with Raulli Ironworks. Chris was a true outdoorsman and self-sustaining individual. He was an avid fisherman and often out-fished anyone he was with; His son claims Chris met his lifetime quota. He could fix anything that needed to be repaired such as a car, boat or house. He loved his family deeply and was incredibly proud of his children. Chris was a jokester, always up for a goodtime and was a humble and kind person. He will be dearly missed by his loved ones; he left us way too soon.
Chris is survived by his wife of 31 years, Michelle L. (Quimby) O’Keefe; his children, Chris O’Keefe, Jr. and Megan (Ryan) Quinn; his grandchildren, Braya and Sylvia; his siblings, Patrick J. O’Keefe and Gwin (Sean) Pierson; nieces, Lily and Evelyn as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Patrick J. and Carol A. (Dailey) O’Keefe.
