Obituary of Kathleen Belle Myers

Kathleen Belle Myers, 95, of Fulton passed away Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Oswego Hospital. She was born September 8, 1928 in Fulton to Franklyn and Aleta Bellinger Bartlett. Kathleen had been employed at Hunter Arms and Sealright prior to dedicating her time to raise her children. Kathleen enjoyed crocheting and made hundreds of beautiful items as gifts for her family. She enjoyed "cruising" going to garage sales which was a family trait. Kathleen and her sisters were members of the Red Hat Society and never passed up an opportunity to dress up for the holidays. Kathleen enjoyed many family gatherings to share food, stories and pictures. She was a fantastic cook and known for her famous homemade rolls. She is survived by her children Judy (Jimmy) Pauldine of Fulton, Roger (Mary Beth) Myers of Tennessee, Ronald (Tina) Myers of Fulton, Dennis (Chris) Myers of Pulaski and Scott (Elle) Myers of Fulton; her sisters, Arlene Barlow of Oswego, Charlotte Pizzo of Pennsylvania, Patricia Gregory of Minetto and Sue Lenard Zappala of North Syracuse; her brothers, Ross (Rosemary) Bartlett and Donald (Gloria) Bartlett both of Fulton; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Kathleen was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Louis E. Myers; her daughter, Darlene Burdick; her son, Robert Myers; her sisters, Gloria White, Pearl Parsons, Marge Chubb and Hattie Campbell; her brothers, William, Harold and Franklyn Bartlett. Calling hours will be held from 4 to 6 p.m., Friday, February 16, 2024 with services to follow at Brown Funeral Home, 21 Flood Drive in Fulton.
