I was so sad to hear of Pat's passing. I have many wonderful memories of parties at your place and jamming at festivals. He was so talented and fun. He was always willing to help out. I feel honored to have known him. Prayers for Gloria, Dan, Luke, and his siblings at this time.

Pat and Gloria and our family go way back. So many memories. Like going to snip City and picking by the campfire. Or going to Pat and Gloria's house and picking in their living room. Or watching them run in front of the stage at the Fox Family Bluegrass Festival with a banner saying snip City. So many memories. He was such a great guy. We all will truly miss him. The Bluegrass world will not be the same. On behalf of the Fox family we bid you farewell and you will be truly missed.

Gloria and family,
We are so sorry to hear of Pat's passing. We first met you and Pat at the Wrench Ranch Bluegrass Festival back in the early '90's, while traveling with Art and Karen Patterson....a meeting that formed so many memorable moments over the next decades of bluegrass festivals. A guy with the biggest heart, the biggest smile and a bigger sense of humor. Never heard him say a bad word about anyone, and anything he had was yours if you needed it, a true country gentleman. Last time I heard you play was at our camp in Redfield, after the Old Home Days parade. He will be missed by all, but the memories, his smile, his mannerisms, and his heart will be with us all forever.

So sorry for your loss, my thoughts and prayers are with the family… Pat was always a bright light! We had many great times at round top and the bean fields while in high school…and recently at our 50th class reunion, always enjoyed him and Gloria at the Cidery… Pat will be missed by all that knew him!
