Obituary of Patricia A. Miller

Patricia A. “Pat” Miller, 75, of Granby passed away at home Tuesday, May 27, 2025. She was born July 22, 1949 in Oswego to Anthony and Mary Margaret Nettles DeStevens. Pat retired from H&R Block where she was employed as a tax preparer. Pat valued the many friendships she created through her association with Jim’s Water Service along with Snowmobile Sales and Service in Volney. She enjoyed watching NASCAR and her nightly viewing of Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. In her free time Pat could be found tending to her garden or repairing cars and snowmobiles. Pat is survived by her children, Leigh Ann Miller of Granby and Robert (Kelly) Miller of New Haven; her siblings, Bobbie Matteson of Scriba, Jeannie LaMay of Florida, Mary Lou (Lloyd) Stoutenger of Liverpool, Elaine (Jim) Dixon of Missouri, Daniel (Sally) DeStevens of Fulton, Kathleen Perrotta of Oklahoma, Joe (Claire) DeStevens of Maine, Jon (Cathy) DeStevens of Oswego and Ed DeStevens of Fulton; three grandchildren, Kaitlin Miller, Megan Flint and Karlie Miller as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her grandson, Noah Flint; her sister, Virginia “Ginger” Shaben and by her brother, David DeStevens. Pat’s family would like to thank Dr. Michael Mix, his secretary, Barb and all the wonderful staff at his office for the compassionate care provided to Pat throughout the years. A calling hour will be held from 5 to 6 p.m., Saturday, May 31, 2025 with services to follow at Brown Funeral Home, 21 Flood Drive in Fulton.
