I am deeply saddened to hear of Freda’s passing. She had such a big heart and was always so good to me when I lived in Fulton, welcoming me into her family with a hug and a smile. Heartfelt condolences to Harl, Jeff, Jamie, and their families. May the wonderful memories you have of her bring you comfort and peace during this very difficult time.

Freda was a living doll. There was a time I was so jealous, in a good way, of her braids. Yes, it was a very long time ago. Years later there she was at Mass with her Mom. Please know I’m so sad she’s gone and I’m thinking of all who loved her and are grieving the loss of her.

As a teenager I babysat Freda & her brothers for a few years when Morse & Teresa worked the muck land from dawn till dusk. She was a beautiful person. Rest in peace Freda.

So sorry to hear of Freda's passing. I haven't seen her and her mom in a while, but always got a hug when I did. I spent a lot of time at their home when I was a child. All my love and prayers to her family.

I feel so saddened to hear about Freda. She was a wonderful person with a huge heart. We had many laughs as she often spoke the truth about people and situations. I have often reflected on how lucky I had been in the past to have had her watch my daughter after she was born. I then could go back to teaching with the knowledge that she was in safe and loving hands. Freda cared for her while I was at work until she entered first grade. That’s how I got to know Freda, not just as a babysitter but as a friend too. Luckily, her own kids were young and still home so the socialization my daughter got was an added plus. There was a memorable moment in Freda’s babysitting years that still makes me snicker. It was when my daughter and her son, two little angels, snuck into Bob’s work room and printed their names on his draft board. When confronted by Freda, they denied that they had ever entered the room. They later had to confess with tails between their legs because the evidence was overwhelming. Case closed. Freda will be greatly missed.
